You already know who
should be using this.

If you talk to sports card sellers about taxes, you can earn a commission when someone you refer becomes a paying KKATC Cards customer. You share a link. If the person who clicks it signs up and pays, you get paid a percentage of what they actually paid. That is the whole program.

Apply to the program

There is no instant signup. Every application is read by hand, because an affiliate speaking about tax software reflects on the software.

What one referral is worth

The rate, and where it stops.

Collectorper tax year
25%$7.50
Pays once

Paid once per referred customer, on their first Collector purchase. If the same customer buys Collector again in a later tax year, that later purchase does not earn again.

Pro or Suiteannual
25%$30.00 or $62.50
Pays once

Paid once per referred customer. A renewal in a following year does not earn again.

Pro or Suitemonthly
20%$3.00 or $6.00
Pays up to 12 times

Paid for each month the customer's payment clears, up to 12 total paid months per referred customer over the life of that account.

The rate is what governs. Commission is always the stated rate applied to the amount the customer actually paid, not to list price, so a discounted or promotional payment earns proportionally less than the dollar figure shows. Those figures are a reference point at current list price, not a fixed payout. Nothing here is a projection or a promise of income.

How a referral gets attributed to you

When someone visits KKATC Cards through your link, we record the click. If that person creates a KKATC Cards account within 30 days of that click, the account is attributed to you. A click older than 30 days at the time of signup does not attribute.

Once made, attribution is permanent. It is not undone by the customer later canceling, pausing, or resubscribing. An account can only ever be attributed to one affiliate, decided by whichever valid click and signup came first.

Permanent attribution does not mean unlimited earning. What you actually earn from that account still follows the rates and caps above, and stops once a cap is reached. Attribution on its own pays nothing: a click, or a free account, is not a commissionable event. Someone has to actually pay.

How you get paid

We pay monthly, covering commission earned through the end of the prior calendar month, no later than 30 days after that month closes. Payment is by Zelle.

There is a $25.00 minimum. If your balance is under $25.00 on a payment date, it carries forward and is paid once it reaches the minimum, rather than being sent in small increments.

We collect a Form W-9 from every affiliate when you join, before any commission is paid. It is part of setting up, not something we come back for later. If you are paid $2,000 or more in a calendar year (the federal reporting threshold for 2026), we also issue you a Form 1099-NEC for that year. You are an independent contractor, not an employee of KKATC, and you are responsible for any taxes on what you earn.

Your affiliate dashboard shows commission earned, commission paid, and the difference between them. That dashboard and KKATC's books are what determine what is owed.

Required disclosure

You have to say that you earn a commission.

Disclosure is required, not optional. Under FTC guidelines, if you promote KKATC Cards anywhere in exchange for a commission, you must clearly and conspicuously disclose that you earn a commission for referrals.

"I earn a commission if you sign up through my link."

A compliant disclosure is a clear, unavoidable statement right next to the recommendation itself. Putting it in your bio, in an "about" section, or on a separate linked page is not sufficient on its own. We may ask for proof of disclosure, and we may end your participation if you do not comply.

You also may not present yourself as an employee, representative, or official spokesperson of KKATC, and you may not reference any professional tax credential in connection with the program unless we have said so in writing.

Apply

Tell us where you would share it.

Applying does not enroll you and does not commit either of us to anything. We read every application, and if it is a fit we will email you a link to review the full terms. You only enter the program if you accept them. You are an independent contractor, not an employee of KKATC, for all purposes under this Program.
